Services and Activities

Hope Stay wants our residents to feel valued, alive, engaged, and happy.  The facility is designed for many services and activity programs to help residents stay active and connected with the local community.

There are many times that people forget the benefits of being socially active and how it can positively impact individuals from all ages.   Being socially active and engaged in activities have been proven to potentially reduce the risk for Alzheimer disease, cardiovascular problems, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and cancer.  

Having a social life can boost an individual immune system and improve their nutrition since they tend to eat more when they are around others.  Being social can also lower an elderly individual's blood pressure and potentially reduce depression.  Helping elders stay social is vital to their health and mental well-being and that is why the facility takes pride in designing community events, field trips, volunteer programs and other activities to keep residents active and engaged.

Below are some of the services and activities that will be offered:

Services:

  • Early to end-stage dementia care

  • 24-Hour Staffing with a check-up every 20 minutes

  • Emergency Call Systems

  • Meals and Housekeeping

  • Nutritional monitoring

  • Scheduled outing (Doctor’s Appointments)

  • Medication management

  • Memory Care

  • Assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, eating

  • Assistance with getting in and out of bed

  • Assistance with activities of daily living

  • Laundry services

  • Personal hygiene and grooming

  • Routine skilled nurse visit

  • Salon Services

  • Supportive home care services

  • TV, WIFI, and phone services

Activities:

  • Volunteer program to pair students with residents

  • Weekly field trip outside of the facility

  • Weekly community event outside of the facility
