We're a Big Family Under One Roof

Hope Stay is an assisted living facility that specialize in memory care for the local La Crosse, WI area.  The name comes from the desire to give hope to elderly individuals who are lonely, depressed, scared, and frustrated with their living situation.  By showing passion and care to these elderly individuals, we hope that they will stay with us and be a part of our family.

Our core values are the guiding principles that shape the culture and practices at Hope Stay Memory Care.  Employees are trained on day one to be honest and ethical in the work place.  Hope Stay will not tolerate any dishonest and unethical behaviors. 

Management will ensure that employees understand that they must respect all stakeholders that are served or who walk into the facility.   Most importantly, employees are educated to help them understand the difference between mutual respect and true respect in the workplace. True respect is not given, it's an attitude and actions that involve a lot of hard work and dedication that must be earned just like trust.  Mutual respect is given and it is expected that all employees will respect everyone that walks into the facility including residents, the families and friends of the residents, co-workers, healthcare and social workers, and the general public.  

Last, the culture is oriented around engagement, respect, family, trust and empowerment. Therefore, Hope Stay encourages the team to be open-minded individuals.  The facility will encourage employees to be open and share their ideas, concerns and opinions to help the business become better at serving the community.  Anyone can ask any questions, voice their opinion, and ask for help at any time. Through sharing knowledge and experience, everyone can better serve all residents and stakeholders.

Our Culture 

Here at Hope Stay, our culture is to focus on family, trust, respect, engagement, and empowerment.  We want both the employees and residents to feel that everyone cares and we want to work together as a family towards one goal.  The team trusts and empowers our employees to make informed decisions regarding operations and the workplace.  We strive to create an environment where everyone is engaged and respected as a family. 

Our Concept 

Our concept is simple.  We care for every resident as if they're our parents.  Make them feel loved, happy and at home.

At Hope Stay we don't want our residents to feel like they're in a care facility. Instead, we strive to create an environment where it feels like home.  Therefore, we’ll provide a combination of the comforts of home with superior service and care to make residents feel welcomed. 

The facility is designed with the safety and comfort of our residents in mind.  Each resident will have their own room, private bathroom, and shower room with the assistance of caregivers when needed.  Lunch and living rooms along with offices and common areas are in the center of the facility to provide easy access to all residents.  Emergency exits are carefully designed and planned to ensure that residents can safely exit the facility.

Residents will enjoy the home-cooked meals with other residents in a small and relaxed atmosphere.  The facility will host weekly community events and field trips to enhance our residents' relationships and connections to the local community, merchants, and organizations.   We treat our residents as if they're our parents and we want them to feel right at home.
